Soybean cake

Soybean meal is obtained as a by-product when oil is extracted from soybeans using mechanical presses. It is a mass of dense, irregularly shaped pieces of a yellow or yellowish-brown hue with a characteristic odor. It is a unique plant product due to its high nutritional value for animal diets due to a significant proportion of easily digestible protein (up to 44% and higher). According to this indicator, soybean products are close to meat or fish meal and are significantly superior to feed from other types of plant raw materials. Experiments show that the introduction of soybean cake into the diet of dairy cattle herds can lead to an increase in milk yield by up to 20%. Poultry egg production increases by 2% or more.

Rapeseed cake

Rapeseed cake is obtained as a waste product during the mechanical extraction of oil from rapeseed plants. It is a lumpy mass of dark yellow or brown color in granular form or in the form of crushed plates. The main quality as food for farm animals is its high protein content, which reaches 35–40%. In addition to vegetable protein, cake contains a lot of fiber and vitamins. The mineral composition of the supplement includes Fe, Ca, P, Mg, K, Zn, I and other trace elements necessary for life. 1 kg of rapeseed cake contains up to 80 grams of sugar and 30 grams of starch. The product is used for feeding cattle, in sheep and pig farming, and in the diet of poultry farms. In dairy animals, it helps to form a balanced nutritional composition, which helps to increase the fat content and quality of milk.

Wheat bran

Feed wheat bran is formed as a by-product during flour milling production. They are a loose mass of varying degrees of grinding, light yellow or grayish in color, with a natural aroma of wheat grain. They easily absorb significant amounts of moisture, so they should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated area. They have high nutritional value for feeding all types of animals and poultry in agriculture, and are especially valuable as a source of protein for dairy cattle. Contains on average (% by weight): water – 15; dry matter – 85. The latter contains: protein – 15.5; fiber – up to 8.4; fats – up to 3.2; ash – 5.3; soluble organic compounds – about 53.

Sunflower meal

Sunflower meal is formed as waste during the production of vegetable oils and is small solid particles formed during the pressing of sunflower seeds and can be granulated. It is a valuable feed additive due to its high content of high-quality plant proteins, fiber, and amino acids. It is used in agriculture as a feed additive in the diet of animals and poultry to increase average daily growth. It also improves the quality of milk and eggs produced, strengthens the immune system and reduces the risk of mortality in young animals. Consists of protein (about 40% by weight) and fiber. Also includes vitamins B and E, microelements - K, P, I, Mn, Zn, Cu, Fe and a number of others.
